For my final project in Intro to Interactive Media, I proposed and led the development of a 360° virtual tour of Emerson College—created as a prototype to address the lack of in-person campus visits during the COVID-19 pandemic. Rather than follow a traditional assignment, I pitched the idea as a scalable solution we could eventually present to the Admissions Department. The goal was to give prospective students an immersive, remote alternative to experiencing Emerson’s campus, culture, and community.

Intro to Interactive Media | Emerson Virtual Reality Tour

Emerson College | Fall 2021

Working alongside my classmate, Kairen Shi, I produced and co-directed, taking the lead on storyboarding, scripting, and coordinating logistics with our tour guide. Together, we brought the concept to life using user-centered design principles and emerging media tools. The final product served as a proof of concept that demonstrated my ability to take initiative, solve real-world problems creatively, and manage a collaborative production from idea to execution.
